just bought a cherokee 1997 drove it back 170 miles no problems had it a day and took it out and it started blipping and losing power then ok again and o and on for another 7 odd miles then became really bad striggled to get uphill started making weird noises like a bang and pop etc parked up left for an hour took it down road and back on a 5 min run and fine again but no doubt it will happen again now what could this be ????
